Maliha, 21, student at City College of New York: "This year was my first Comic Con! I've been into nerdy stuff for a while… I was a huge nerd growing up. I think when women in comics have big breasts and big behinds versus men, who are showing abs and stuff, it's because they are fighters. If Capt. America has 50 pounds of muscle it’s because he’s a fighter, he needs those muscles, it goes with his character. When women are sexualized, their sexuality isn’t helping them in the cause of whatever it is they are doing. You know what I’m saying? With women, everything’s coming out, they barely have any clothes on. That’s not a very combat appropriate clothing. Don’t you want a bulletproof shirt or something? I get the fact that they want them to look pretty, but sometimes it goes against logic."
