(Not) About Me

7 not-relevant facts about me…

  1. At 8 years old, I saw Saturday Night Fever (in the theater) 3 times.
  2.   Grew up listening to Classical music, but love Youssou N'Dour (West African).
  3.   Once loved a girl who joined the Big Apple Circus.
  4.   Was a drummer in a popular LA roots/rock band for 5 years.
  5.   Favorite first line of a poem: “Last night, we kissed for 3 weeks”
  6.   Debuted in a Bollywood film in 2015 (Detective Byomkesh Bakshy), speaking only Hindi.
  7.   Frequently tells [what was] Fred Rogers’ (aka Mr. Rogers) favorite joke.

Ok. I'm a portrait photographer based in New York City and travel consistently for commercial/corporate/editorial assignments + personal projects. I was also an adjunct professor of photography at S.I. Newhouse School + my first book "Living the Dream: The Life of the 'Bollywood' Actor" (HarperCollins) is now available.
My happiest days are being in the creative maze and finding my way around.
